Maybe it all started with a shiny purple record by Israeli folk singer Yafa Yarkoni
My mother, who only lived in Israeli eight years before my birth, cared deeply about correct Hebrew.
This extended to the Hebrew used by us, her children.
As the eldest daughter, I got a great deal of attention on this front as well - an abundance of books, records, and plenty of hours spend singing songs, being read to, and learning tongue twisters.
I grew up to be a writing child.
The one who writes the yearly greeting to the teacher in school, the graduation speech at the end of the school year, or an entire yearbook. As an adult, after traveling the world, studying and doing, I landed in the world of media and public relations.
For two decades I worked with NGO’s, educational foundations, technology firms, legal companies, and many more to attain the most effective media exposure for their purposes.
On this path towards getting this recognition, along this path which was so rich with writing, I understood – this is my true love, my real strength.
In recent years I am working with various organizations and offer them a compressive ‘content envelope’ such as an interesting, well fitting, content to a web page owned by a high-tech firm, thought provoking articles for a magazine, a well-crafted newsletter for an NGO, press releases, opinion columns by busy executives and much more.
I live in Tel Aviv, a mother of two – Noga and Naomi – a wordsmith, gardener, and a close associate to those who bid me to help them tell their story.
